Hades 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive.
While we don't yet have a confirmed release date, developer Supergiant officially announced the highly anticipated sequel will launch simultaneously on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Switch later this year.
Though last week's Nintendo Direct hinted at Hades 2 coming to the enhanced Switch 2, Supergiant has now confirmed the game won't just appear on both Switch consoles - it'll also enjoy timed exclusivity on Nintendo platforms.
"Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch," the studio clarified in a recent Twitter post.

Currently, there's no confirmed timeline for when Hades 2 might expand to other consoles like PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S.
Hades 2 builds upon Supergiant's acclaimed first installment, blending compelling narrative with roguelite dungeon-crawling action.
"Hades 2 feels staggeringly expansive and remarkably polished for any game, let alone an early access title," noted our 9/10 review in IGN's Hades 2 early-access evaluation. "Protagonist Mel delivers an outstanding performance, the refined combat and progression systems shine, and the game delivers double the content of its predecessor."
"The current version is already impressive, and the promise of future additions makes this an exceptionally exciting package."
