Hearthstone enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting update! Battlegrounds Season 10, dubbed "Second Nature," is set to launch on April 29th, 2025, bringing with it a fresh wave of changes and returning favorites. As Season 9 concludes on the same day, your ratings will reset, and the Track will undergo a complete refresh. Any unclaimed rewards from Season 9 will be automatically collected for you, ensuring you don't miss out on any goodies.
The reveal of new content is spread across several days, giving you a tantalizing glimpse into what's coming. On April 18th, expect to see the mighty Dragons, devious Demons, and mechanical Mechs unveiled. April 21st will introduce the fearsome Undead and swashbuckling Pirates, followed by the mystical Naga and the tenacious Quilboar on April 22nd. The lineup concludes with the playful Murlocs and ferocious Beasts on April 23rd.
One significant change coming with Season 10 is the complete removal of Anomalies from the Tavern, making room for a more streamlined gameplay experience. Additionally, turn lengths are being extended, providing you with more time to strategize your moves effectively.
Trinkets are making a comeback, but with a twist. These passive power-ups, which you can purchase with Gold, will appear twice during a game: Lesser Trinkets on turn 6 and Greater Trinkets on turn 9. Season 10 enhances your chances of obtaining Trinkets that synergize with your current minion type. Blizzard is also introducing over 100 new Trinkets alongside more than 100 returning ones, offering a vast array of options to enhance your gameplay.
Two new heroes are joining the fray: Forest Lord Cenarius and Buttons. Cenarius, embodying classic Druid energy, will help you ramp up your Gold and power up for impactful late-game plays. Alongside these new heroes, the minion pool will see a massive refresh, with over 75 new and returning minions and Tavern spells being added. The Battlegrounds Track will also be reset, offering a fresh start for everyone.
