Heroes United: Fight x3 – A Surprisingly Unlicensed Delight?
Heroes United: Fight x3 is a straightforward 2D hero-collecting RPG. The gameplay itself is unremarkable; a familiar formula of assembling a team and battling enemies and bosses. However, a closer look at the game's marketing reveals some… unexpected characters.
A quick glance at the game's promotional materials reveals strikingly similar characters to Goku, Doraemon, and Tanjiro. While the game doesn't explicitly claim to feature these characters, their resemblance is undeniable, raising questions about licensing. It's a brazen display of unlicensed character use, a refreshing change of pace in a market often overly cautious.
The audacity is almost endearing. Seeing such blatant homage to popular characters is a novelty in today's gaming landscape. While it's certainly not a high-quality, original game, its blatant disregard for licensing is oddly charming.
However, the game's lack of originality is a stark contrast to many truly excellent mobile game releases.
