Designed by the renowned Tim Armstrong, who is also behind Arcana Rising and Orbis, Imperial Miners features captivating illustrations by Hanna Kuik, known for her work on Batman: Everybody Lies and Dune: House Secrets.
Ever Played Imperial Miners?
In Imperial Miners, you take on the role of an underground excavation manager. Your objective is to build the most efficient mine by strategically playing cards and developing a flourishing subterranean empire. Starting on the surface, the game intensifies as you delve deeper, gathering valuable Crystals and Carts that contribute to your Victory Points.
The game employs an innovative system where each card played not only triggers its own effect but also activates the effects of any cards placed above it. With six different factions available, players can experiment with various combinations to maximize their strategy.
Building your mine is more than just card placement; you have 10 rounds to perfect your strategy, with each round introducing a new Event. These Events can range from straightforward to challenging, potentially disrupting your plans.
As you progress, you'll advance on Progress boards. Each game session features three out of six randomly selected Progress boards, each offering unique strategic focuses. These boards introduce additional bonuses and new strategies, ensuring that every game of Imperial Miners is distinct and engaging.

Imperial Miners is a sophisticated engine-building game that invites players to explore the depths of their own mine.
