inZOI System Requirements Show the Price of Higher Quality Graphics

inZOI, the latest offering from Krafton, demands robust system specifications to deliver its high-quality graphics and immersive city-level simulations. Dive in to explore inZOI's system requirements and understand the variations across different hardware tiers.

inZOI Revealed System Requirements for the Game

RTX 2060 as Its Minimum Graphics Requirement

Krafton, the developer behind inZOI, has outlined the game's system requirements on March 12, 2025, categorizing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High. Each tier comes with its own set of optimal settings.

At the entry level, inZOI requires an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX5600 for graphics, paired with an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU. This is significantly higher than the specs needed for EA's Sims 4, which only requires an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton justifies this by stating, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, which require higher system specifications to run smoothly."

Moving up, the recommended settings demand an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 for graphics and an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 for the CPU. For those aiming for the highest settings, the game necessitates an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 for graphics and an Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D for the CPU.

The game's trailers, powered by Unreal Engine 5, hint at the need for such high-end hardware. While inZOI is slated for PS5 and Xbox, its current PC-centric requirements suggest further optimization will be needed for console versions.

Graphics Comparison by System Specs

Krafton has released a video showcasing the graphical differences across the specified system tiers. The video highlights variations in lighting, textures, and color, with the highest PC specs offering the most visually stunning experience.

Despite the steep system requirements, inZOI might face challenges in reaching the broad audience enjoyed by competitors like Sims 4. However, Krafton is committed to enhancing accessibility. They stated, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we remain committed to making inZOI accessible to more players." They plan to introduce a feature that automatically adjusts game settings for optimal performance and are working on optimizations to lower system requirements without sacrificing quality.

inZOI is set to have a live stream showcase on March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC on its official YouTube and Twitch channels. This event will cover early access pricing, DLC details, the developmental roadmap, and answer fan questions.

The game will launch in early access on Steam on March 28, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The full release date is yet to be announced. Stay updated with the latest on inZOI by checking our dedicated page.
