Alphadia III is officially available today for global Android players, marking the third installment in the renowned Alphadia series. Published by KEMCO and developed by EXE CREATE, this highly anticipated RPG made its debut in Japan last October.
Unveiling the World of Alphadia III
Set in Alphadian Year 970, the game plunges players into the closing chapters of the Energi War—a colossal conflict centered around a mysterious life force known as energi. The world is fragmented among three dominant factions: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east, each vying for control over this enigmatic power.
The narrative takes a dramatic turn when a clone soldier named Alfonso encounters a young girl named Tarte, who brings news of another clone’s demise. This revelation ignites a pivotal transformation within Alfonso, propelling him into the heart of the unfolding chaos.
Exploring the Gameplay Mechanics
Alphadia III adheres to a traditional turn-based combat system, offering a nostalgic pixel art aesthetic. Players will encounter various strategic elements, such as SP Skills, which accumulate during battles and can shift the tide of combat when executed at the right moment.
Arrays, another key feature, introduce dynamic battle formations that evolve as the story progresses. These formations provide players with multiple tactical approaches tailored to different challenges.
A novel addition is the Energi Crock, a unique mechanic where players deposit items while exploring. Over time, this device produces Energi Elements, which can be exchanged for valuable gear and rewards at special shops.
Throughout the journey, players will engage with factions like Deval, a peacekeeping organization, and elite military units such as Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. Additionally, distinct energi clone models, including the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild, add depth to the game's lore.
Beyond the gripping storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controllers. The game is priced at $7.99 on the Google Play Store, with a freemium version available featuring advertisements.
