One More Level, Creators of Ghostrunner, Reveal Image of Their New Game

by Camila Mar 04,2025

One More Level, renowned for the critically acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has unveiled a new project: Cyber Slash. This upcoming title, unlike the fast-paced, cyberpunk action of Ghostrunner, takes a dramatic turn, transporting players to an alternate 19th century, a dark and epic reimagining of the Napoleonic era.

While One More Level is also developing Project Swift, slated for a 2028 release, the recently revealed artwork strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash promises a challenging and action-packed experience, diverging from the Souls-like formula. While precise parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain core mechanics, the protagonist's abilities will evolve through a unique mutation system throughout the game. Expect legendary heroes, unknown forces, and terrifying threats in this thrilling historical fantasy. The Ghostrunner games averaged 81% and 79% (first game) and 80% and 76% (sequel) across critical and player reviews, setting a high bar for One More Level's next venture.
