Netflix has released a teaser trailer packed with the signature Love, Death + Robots style: striking visuals and a fresh collection of bizarre concepts. Here are a few highlights we caught in the minute-long sneak peek:
A massive space conflict or disaster
A puppet rock band in action
The aforementioned adult toy, animated with giant claymation eyes
A priest strolling alongside a tentacled alien on a beach
A tormented, possibly bionic woman accompanied by a fuzzy creature
Oversized, intimidating infants
Dinosaur-on-dinosaur combat
An alien invasion depicted through miniatures
A judgmental, peeping cat
Executive producers include Tim Miller (Deadpool) and David Fincher (Seven, The Social Network), while Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2, Shrek Forever After) returns as supervising director.
"If Love, Death + Robots leaves any lasting mark, it’s that a handful of people—maybe fifteen—might become directors, animators, motion capture artists, or voice actors a decade from now because they loved the series. That’s all that matters to me," Fincher shared in a 2022 Collider interview.
"This show isn’t about making millions. You’re here because you want to be—or you’re not. We’re eager to continue pouring our time and passion into this hidden creative world."
