Marvel Snap adds Fantastic Four-themed modes

Second Dinner Studios has launched an explosive new season for Marvel Snap, transporting players into a cosmic adventure starring Marvel's First Family. This Fantastic Four-themed update perfectly coincides with the theatrical release of "The Fantastic Four: First Steps."

Rather than simply mirroring the upcoming film, this Marvel Snap collaboration digs deep into classic comic book nostalgia. All iconic members of the Fantastic Four make dramatic appearances, introducing fresh gameplay mechanics and exciting new modes. Let's break down everything coming to the game!

What Cosmic Surprises Await?

Leading the charge is Reed Richards himself - Mister Fantastic arrives with his game-changing First Steps variant card. This brilliant addition lets you modify cards in hand every turn, either trimming their energy cost by 1 or boosting their power by 2 points.

The Fantasticar soars in as a Series 4 Super Premium reward, delivering a consistent +2 power buff to all end-of-turn cards when activated. Among the roster of newcomers is everyone's favorite robotic companion - H.E.R.B.I.E. from Series 5 dazzles with rotating abilities that change each turn, from energy boosts to power surges and even rock-solid creations.

Johnny Storm's Human Torch maintains steady power growth each turn while unleashing his signature Nova Flame ability once per match when your side reaches capacity. Meanwhile, Benjamin Grimm's The Thing grows stronger every turn and clears weaker foes from crowded locations. Sue Storm's Invisible Woman enables your end-of-turn abilities to trigger twice when activated.

Limited-Time Villains Enter the Fray

Seasonal events introduce two notorious antagonists - Mole Man causes chaos by flooding your hand with rocks while removing cards from your deck, and Mad Thinker grows progressively stronger by feeding off your full hand each turn.

Marvel Snap x Fantastic Four Card Release Schedule

Players can collect Mister Fantastic First Steps, Fantasticar, and H.E.R.B.I.E. immediately. The fiery Human Torch ignites the collection on July 15th, with Kid Omega and Cobra following on July 16th. The ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing smashes in on July 22nd, while villains Mole Man and Mad Thinker scheme their way in on July 24th, and the Invisible Woman makes her stealthy entrance July 29th.

Marvel Snap elevates gameplay with two thrilling limited-time modes: High Voltage returns electrified from July 17th-21st with exclusive cosmetic rewards, while the brand-new Grand Arena (July 24th-August 7th) lets players champion one of eight iconic characters with preconstructed decks.

Two dynamic new locations reshape battles: Rocket Pad boosts the winning side's power post-Turn 4, while Reed's Lab generates bonus energy when you dominate your side of the board. Cosmetic collectors will rejoice at two new albums joining the collection.
