by Owen Apr 11,2025

Curious about the origins of the Avengers or what Odin was up to before Thor and Loki entered the scene? Wondering about Agamotto, the first Sorcerer Supreme? Marvel Snap's latest season, Prehistoric Avengers, is here to answer all these questions and more. This season introduces prehistoric versions of iconic characters, now available as cards, including the very first Black Panther, Phoenix host Firehair, Agamotto, and even Khonshu. Each card comes with complex yet powerful abilities that can enhance your gameplay.

A highlight of this season is the introduction of a new card type: Skills. These cards, which represent actions and abilities rather than characters, are Banished once played—meaning they're gone for good. They don't have Power but are cheaper to play in terms of Energy, offering strategic advantages.

By the eye of- oh you know by nowAlongside these new cards, Marvel Snap brings two fresh locations into the mix. The Star Brand crater rewards additional Energy if you have the highest Power there, while the Celestial Burial Ground lets you discard a card and replace it with one of the same cost, adding new layers to your strategy.

But the excitement doesn't stop there. The season also introduces new Spotlight Caches, featuring top-level cards, both old and new, along with variant card art. The return of the High Voltage mode promises to electrify your matches with a faster pace.

Before you dive back into the game, ensure you're equipped with the best possible deck. Check out our comprehensive tier list of Marvel Snap cards, ranked from best to worst.
