What is Methods?
Methods is a visual novel where 100 detectives compete against criminal masterminds to solve a series of crimes. The stakes are high: a $1 million prize and a life-changing opportunity for the winning detective, while the criminal mastermind stands to gain parole. Despite the serious premise, Methods employs a lighthearted tone, stylish artwork, and Danganronpa-esque visual flair. Gameplay involves simple observation and multiple-choice questions to solve crimes.
The Final Challenge
Methods 5: The Last Stage marks the series' finale, introducing the sixth and final stage with new challenges. The DLC, Methods: The Illusion Murders, is also included. While the episodic format might not appeal to everyone, dedicated fans will undoubtedly appreciate the series' conclusion.
