Com2uS has launched a delightful new adventure game for Android enthusiasts titled Minion Rumble. From the name itself, you can glean the light-hearted nature of the game, where you'll be summoning a capybara with impressive battle stats to defend against zombie-like hordes, all while enjoying a casual sip of your favorite drink. That's the essence of Minion Rumble!
Where Is Minion Rumble Available?
Minion Rumble is currently available in the US, Canada, the UK, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. At its heart, the game blends the casual nature of a roguelike with the thrilling .io-style legion battles. You take on the role of the Summoner, leading your squad, and you'll be joined by Champions and Minions to complete your team. Expect a quirky mix of characters, like a bowmaster fairy and a war-hardened shooter, teaming up with a cat Champion to tackle endless waves of foes.
The gameplay is designed for one-handed, vertical play, introducing random skill cards and Champions during your runs. This means each playthrough offers a unique build, so your strategy to rely on a powerful swordmaster might not always pan out. Beyond the combat, a gear system allows you to enhance your wand, arrows, or sword as you progress. Plus, there's an offline rewards system that keeps accumulating loot for you even when you're away from the game.
There Are Some Fun Launch Events Happening Right Now
To celebrate the launch, Minion Rumble is hosting several exciting events. The first event, Pudding Paradise, runs until April 17th. It's a quest-and-dice event where you can earn Pudding Plates, which can be exchanged for rewards, including Epic Champion Selection Chests. Following that, the Puddiebean Fusion Festival is available until April 24th. This event involves collecting Puddiebeans from quests and fusing them into gear, some of which is S-tier quality.
Additionally, if you pre-registered for the game, you'll receive rewards such as 10,000 Gold and the Epic Champion Capyboo. Capyboo is a sturdy unit that combines durability with undeniable cuteness.
Minion Rumble supports seven languages and is free to play. You can dive into this fun-filled adventure by visiting the Google Play Store.
