Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta: October 28th (PS Plus Early Access), October 31st for All
The October 23rd showcase revealed a cross-platform open beta launching next week on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. PS Plus subscribers on PS5 enjoy a three-day head start, beginning October 28th, while everyone else joins the hunt from October 31st to November 3rd.
Download the beta client from your platform's store starting October 27th (PS Plus) or October 30th (others). Ensure you have at least 18GB of free space.

Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Content
The open beta features character creation (progress carries over to the full game!), a story trial (tutorial and Chatacabra fight), and a challenging Doshaguma Hunt (supports multiplayer or NPC hunters). Beta participants receive exclusive in-game rewards (Palico pendant, Seikret, item pack) redeemable upon full game release (February 28, 2025).
New Trailer Reveals "Black Flame" and Oilwell Basin
The "Black Flame" trailer introduces the Oilwell Basin, a fiery new locale with unpredictable oil well explosions. New monsters adapted to this harsh environment include the Ajarakan and Rompopolo, and the fearsome apex predator, the Black Flame.
