Onimusha: Way of the Sword – A 2026 Release
Onimusha: Way of the Sword, slated for a 2026 release, will feature compelling characters, a new protagonist, and engaging enemies. The game aims for "ultimate sword fighting action" set in a meticulously recreated Edo Period Kyoto. The protagonist, through a twist of fate, wields an Oni Gauntlet, fueled by the souls of vanquished Genma. The developers aim for a challenging yet accessible experience for action fans of all skill levels.
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny – Remastered in 2025
A remastered version of the 2002 classic, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, is planned for release in 2025, bridging the gap until Onimusha: Way of the Sword's arrival.
Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 Details
Monster Hunter Wilds' second Open Beta introduces the flagship monster, Arkveld, in a challenging advanced quest. Other additions include a Gypceros Hunt, a training area, Private Lobbies, and Online Single Player mode. Data transfer from the first beta is possible. The beta runs:
- Thursday, February 6th, 7 PM PT – Sunday, February 9th, 6:59 PM PT
- Thursday, February 13th, 7 PM PT – Sunday, February 16th, 6:59 PM PT
Character data transfers to the full game (February 28th release), but progress does not. Participants receive a special Pendant.
Monster Hunter Wilds – Iceshard Cliffs and New Monsters
The showcase unveiled a new story trailer featuring the Iceshard Cliffs, home to new monsters: Rove (Wudwud), Hirabami (Leviathan), Nerscylla (Temnoceran), and Gore Magala. Further details on Arkveld were also revealed.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 launches May 16th, 2025, featuring Capcom vs. SNK Millennium Fight 2000 Pro, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, Capcom Fighting Evolution, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, Power Stone, Power Stone 2, Project Justice, and Plasma Sword: Night of Bilstein.
