Orna Raises Awareness through Terra

Orna, the fantasy RPG and GPS MMO by Northern Forge Studios, is launching Terra's Legacy, a unique in-game event tackling real-world environmental pollution. From September 9th to 19th, players will battle pollution-themed enemies and contribute to real-world cleanup efforts.

Combating Pollution: In-Game and Out

Terra's Legacy merges virtual gameplay with real-world environmental action. Players identify polluted locations in their area through the Orna app. These locations are then transformed into in-game "Gloomsites," represented by battles against the Murk, a pollution-themed enemy. Defeating the Murk raises awareness and allows players to plant virtual trees and grow Gaia apples in these designated areas. These apples can customize characters and enhance their abilities, and can be harvested by other players, fostering collaboration.

Green Game Jam 2024 Participation

Terra's Legacy is Orna's contribution to the Green Game Jam 2024, an annual event promoting environmental awareness through gaming. Download Orna from the Google Play Store and join the effort!
