Palworld Clones Expand with Childish Capers of Auroria

by Thomas Feb 24,2025

Auroria: A Playful Adventure, launching July 10th in the SEA region, blends classic survival gameplay with creature collection, echoing the success of Palworld. This new title combines base building, planetary exploration, resource gathering, and the charming addition of capturing and training adorable creatures.

Gameplay is a familiar mix of crafting, survival, and base construction, spiced up with hostile wildlife encounters and the unique element of creature collection. Players will capture creatures using orbs, reminiscent of Palworld's mechanics, and train them as companions. While details on forced labor remain undisclosed, the trailer (below) offers further insight.

The Palworld formula's success has clearly inspired other developers. Auroria aims to expand upon this concept, following in the footsteps of titles like Amikin Survival that capitalized on the initial Palworld hype. While a mobile Palworld version remains unconfirmed, Auroria presents a compelling alternative.
