Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Detailed Timeline
Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventuring party in Metaphor: ReFantazio. While Gallica is present from the start, her combat participation is limited initially. Each subsequent party member joins on specific in-game dates during pivotal story events. Note: Reading this guide may reveal minor story spoilers regarding party member recruitment.

Party Member Recruitment Schedule:
Each party member awakens to their unique Archetype, usable by any party member thereafter. Early recruits may be initially non-playable AI companions, while later members awaken just before their first combat appearance.

Storhl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th (6/5) during the Border Fort events. Awakens to his Archetype the following day, June 6th (6/6), in the Nord Mines, becoming a controllable party member.

Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, but becomes combat-ready on June 6th (6/6). While summoning an Archetype on Grius is possible after Storhl's awakening, Grius doesn't undergo a traditional Archetype awakening.

Hulkenberg (Knight): Begins interacting with the party on June 10th (6/10). Fully joins and awakens her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th (6/11).

Heismay (Thief): Appears during free time in Martira. Awakens and joins the party on July 4th (7/4) within the town's main dungeon.

Junah (Masked Dancer): Present throughout the game, Junah awakens and joins the party on August 13th (8/13).

Eupha (Summoner): Eupha's recruitment offers more flexibility. Between August 19th (8/19) and September 4th (9/4) during free time on Viraga Island, complete the Dragon Temple Dungeon. Eupha joins for the final boss on whichever day you complete the dungeon. Her Bond, however, is only accessible after the deadline.

Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins the party on September 11th (9/11) during the Saint's Day events. Combat use is available the following day, if desired.
