Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over – A Style Statement with Shadowy Surprises!
Get ready for a stylish showdown in Pokémon GO! Fashion Week: Taken Over runs from January 15th to 19th, blending high fashion with thrilling battles against Team GO Rocket. This event offers a unique opportunity to rescue Shadow Palkia by confronting Giovanni. A Shadow Ho-Oh Raid Day on January 19th adds another layer of excitement, with a boosted chance of encountering a Shiny Ho-Oh.
This year's Fashion Week introduces two new Pokémon: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Shroodle will be hatching from 12 km Eggs. Team GO Rocket will be more prevalent at PokéStops and in balloons, providing ample chances to utilize Charged TMs and remove the Frustration move from your Shadow Pokémon.
A fresh batch of Shadow Pokémon are available, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep an eye out for Shiny variants! For the first time, Remote Raid Passes can be used to participate in these Shadow Raids, regardless of your location.
A special research task will reward you with a Super Rocket Radar, leading to the Giovanni battle and Shadow Palkia rescue. Field Research tasks offer rewards such as Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Completing a special Collection Challenge grants Stardust and a Trubbish encounter.

Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day takes place on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event features extra Raid Passes, increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rates, and the opportunity for your Ho-Oh to learn the devastating Sacred Fire Charged Attack. A $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards.
