Pokemon Center Hiroshima Relocation and Gyarados Plaza Launch
Pokemon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close in March 2025 and reopen at a new location in April 2025. Simultaneously, a new Gyarados Plaza will debut in March.
New Location for Pokemon Center Hiroshima
The store's relocation will see it move to the second floor of Ekie, located at the north exit of Hiroshima Station. This marks a significant change from its current location on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, where it has resided since June 2015.
Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station
The Gyarados Plaza, a new playground themed around the iconic Pokemon, will open on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Minamoa building at Hiroshima Station. This family-friendly space will feature large play equipment designed after Gyarados. Initially, reservations will be required to use the playground equipment. Details on reservations will be available on the official Minamoa website.
Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event
To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" reaching over 1 million subscribers, a nationwide event will be held at Pokemon Centers across Japan, including Hiroshima, before its closure. Participants can receive an exclusive sticker by providing a password obtained from a specific Poke-lun TV YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024).
Select Pokemon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also offer photo opportunities with studio-style backdrops featuring the popular Poke-lun TV hosts.
This event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025, and excludes Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafe, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe. Don't miss out on these exciting events and the new Gyarados Plaza!
