Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th
Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation versions of the critically acclaimed puzzler Botany Manor have been delayed, but now have a confirmed launch date: January 28th, 2025. This will bring the relaxing, magical plant-growing game to PS4 and PS5 consoles.
Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor first bloomed on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in April 2024, earning widespread praise for its charming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and engaging exploration. The delay, announced shortly before the original December release, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience.
While the new release date has been confirmed, a PlayStation Store page for the game remains absent. However, Botany Manor is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with its other platform releases. The game will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions, and the digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Enriching PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup
Botany Manor's strong reception (an 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) positions it perfectly to enhance PlayStation's growing library of high-quality puzzle games. Its launch on January 28th will mark the game's arrival on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce its next project. Botany Manor will join other notable PlayStation Store releases on January 28th, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
