As Rainbow Six Siege celebrates its tenth anniversary, Ubisoft unveiled an exciting new chapter: Siege X. This update is poised to redefine the game much like CS2 did for CS:GO. Set to launch on June 10, Siege X will transition to a free-to-play model, opening the doors for all players to experience its tactical thrills.

Key Changes in Siege X:

New Mode: Dual Front – This innovative 6v6 game mode blends attack and defense operators into a dynamic battlefield. Teams vie to capture enemy zones and plant sabotage devices across a map divided into multiple areas—three controlled by each team and one expansive neutral zone. The twist? Players respawn just 30 seconds after being taken down, keeping the action relentless.

Advanced Rappel System – Elevate your strategy with an enhanced rappel system. Now, players can maneuver on ropes not only vertically but also horizontally, adding new layers of tactical depth to every operation.

Increased Environmental Destruction – The Siege X trailer dazzled with new destructible elements. From explosive fire extinguishers to volatile gas pipes, the environment becomes a more interactive and unpredictable part of your arsenal.

Reworks for Five Popular Maps – Five beloved maps are slated for major overhauls, promising fresh challenges and strategic possibilities for seasoned players and newcomers alike.

Graphical & Audio Enhancements – Prepare for a sensory upgrade. Ubisoft is introducing significant improvements to both visuals and sound, immersing players deeper into the Siege experience.

Improved Anti-Cheat & Toxicity Measures – Ubisoft is doubling down on fair play and community health with enhanced anti-cheat systems and new measures to combat toxic behavior, ensuring a more enjoyable environment for all players.

To give eager fans a taste of what's to come, Ubisoft has scheduled a closed beta for Siege X over the next seven days. Players can gain access by tuning into Siege streams, making it a rewarding opportunity for the community to dive in early and provide valuable feedback.
