Yama, Master of Pacts Confronts Players in New OSRS Boss Battle

Jagex just unleashed a fiery new challenge in Old School RuneScape - players must now face Yama, the formidable Master of Pacts. Continuing the Great Kourend saga, this latest update rekindles the high-stakes action from 2021's A Kingdom Divided quest.

Remember When We Toppled the Judge?

That epic showdown with Yama's Judge two years ago? Turns out it was merely a prelude. The true demonic overlord has finally emerged - a terrifying winged minotaur wielding a colossal axe, radiating pure infernal energy.

Deep beneath Kourend in the blistering Chasm of Fire, Yama consolidates his power while zealot Disciples rally to his cause. While his Judge pushed players to their limits, this fire-wreathed warlord represents an entirely new tier of danger.

Prepare for a white-knuckle encounter where split-second reactions make all the difference. Deadly area attacks, unpredictable environmental hazards, and chaotic mechanics will test even veteran teams. Solo adventurers? You'll need nerves of steel.

You Feel Ready for This Fight?

Before stepping into the Chasm, you'll need A Kingdom Divided under your belt - and that's just the minimum requirement. We're talking absolute max combat stats and top-tier equipment. Oh, and don't forget to actually sign Yama's ominous combat contract (yes, it's a literal in-game document).

The volcanic depths hide more than just the new boss. Miners can now extract Crimson Lovakite, forging it into specialized Oathplate armor - essential protection against Yama's hellish wrath.

Victorious warriors might claim exclusive rewards including Demon Tallow for powerful Surge Potions, convenient Chasm Teleport Scrolls, and coveted Grimoire Pages. These drops make all that struggle worthwhile.

Old School RuneScape awaits on the Google Play Store - will you answer Yama's challenge?
