Eclipse Glow Games Unveils "Tides of Annihilation," a Story-Driven Action-Adventure Game
Revealed at Sony's 2025 State of Play event, Tides of Annihilation is a single-player action-adventure game promising a blend of intense combat, immersive storytelling, and a unique setting. The debut trailer (see below) showcases the game's captivating visuals.
The game transports players to a modern-day London besieged by otherworldly forces. Players assume the role of Gwendolyn, exploring iconic London landmarks, summoning spectral Knights of the Round Table for assistance in combat, and facing enemies inspired by Arthurian mythology. Prepare for epic battles against colossal skyscraper-sized bosses!
Developed by the Chengdu, China-based studio Eclipse Glow Games (backed by Tencent), Tides of Annihilation boasts a team of over 100 developers with extensive experience working on titles such as Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia.

Tides of Annihilation is a narrative-driven, single-player experience set in a distorted modern London, ravaged by an otherworldly invasion. As Gwendolyn, humanity's last hope, players embark on a legendary quest through iconic London locations to solve a mystery that will decide the fate of reality. Players will battle alongside spectral knights, face formidable enemies and unforgettable bosses, and navigate vertical levels featuring gigantic roaming knights.
