The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card was unveiled on April 16, marking its entry as the most budget-friendly Blackwell GPU available. However, its launch turned out to be a "paper" release, with actual retail units scarce and often available only at a significant markup. On a brighter note, if you're in the market for a prebuilt gaming PC featuring this new GPU, you're in luck. There's a good selection of prebuilt gaming PCs on the market, and they're priced reasonably well. The two most affordable options we've spotted are from Skytech, available at Amazon, starting at just $1,249.99. This is an excellent deal for a current-generation gaming rig capable of handling 1080p and 1440p gaming.

The RTX 5060 Ti follows in the footsteps of the RTX 4060 Ti, offering a notable performance boost of around 15%-20% in gaming. This improvement is more significant than the generational leap seen with the RTX 5070 over the RTX 4070. From a value standpoint, the RTX 5060 Ti stands out as the best Blackwell card for 1080p gaming, while still being powerful enough to run games at 1440p, especially when leveraging DLSS 4 technology. Although the RTX 5070 is more powerful, prebuilt systems featuring it start at a much higher price point of $1,700 to $1,800. For gamers focused on 1440p or lower resolutions, the cost difference is difficult to justify.
GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Review by James Archer (Rock Paper Shotgun)
"The RTX 5060 Ti upholds the tradition of the XX60 Ti series, offering smooth and relatively budget-friendly performance at 1440p. When compared to the pricier RTX 5070, it pushes native-resolution, pre-DLSS frame rates further than its predecessor in the 40 series.
Therefore, we can confidently label the RTX 5060 Ti as one of the more successful RTX 50 series graphics cards and the go-to choice for budget-conscious gamers aiming for at least 1440p performance."
