"Speed Demons 2: PC Release Announced"

by Violet May 12,2025

Radiangames has unveiled Speed Demons 2, a thrilling side-scrolling highway racer that evokes the high-octane spirit of the iconic Burnout series. Originally launched as a mobile game, the sequel is now being crafted for PC and is slated for release later this year.

The developer emphasizes an innovative control scheme, stating, "The controls are focused on movement, not steering. You'll still have gas, brake, and turbo (or ability) buttons, but you move the analog stick (or mouse) up and down to control your vehicle's direction." They assure players that, despite its uniqueness, the system feels "immediately intuitive once you start playing."

Modes like Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage challenge players to wreak havoc on the highway within a set time limit, reminiscent of Burnout's Road Rage. For those who prefer precision over destruction, the Scratchless mode offers a challenge akin to Burnout's Burning Lap, where the goal is to reach the finish line with minimal damage to your vehicle.

If Speed Demons 2 piques your interest, be sure to add it to your wishlist on Steam.
