As you journey through the diverse realms of *Split Fiction*, you'll encounter benches scattered throughout the landscapes. These benches might seem like mere decorative elements, but they are intricately linked to the achievement "Sisters: A Tale of Two Besties." This achievement pays homage to director Josef Faras' debut game, *Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons*. To unlock it, you and your partner must locate and sit on six benches spread across the game's eight chapters. Though it may sound straightforward, these benches can be easily overlooked if you're solely focused on progressing through the story.
Note that you won't find any benches in the first or last chapter, so the remaining six chapters each contain one bench. These benches aren't marked on your HUD, and the game doesn't provide hints about their specific locations within the chapters. You'll need to stay vigilant and look for spots where you and your partner can rest. If you're having trouble finding them, this guide will help you pinpoint each bench's location.
All Benches in Split Fiction & Where To Find Them
Chapter 2: Neon Revenge – In the Big City Life section, the bench is easy to spot. After you grapple away from the water park, you'll land on a balcony where the bench awaits. Simply approach and sit down.
Chapter 3: Hopes of Spring – In the Halls of Ice section, when you reach the room with the sliding block puzzle, look toward the balcony near a large tree. The bench is there for you to rest on.
Chapter 4: Final Dawn – In the Soaring Desperados section, while running through the corridor, you'll see a large window with a bench in front of it. Take a moment to sit and relax.
Chapter 5: Rise of the Dragon Realm – In the Water Temple section, after Mio and Zoe reunite following the water wheels, look to the cliff on the left. You'll find the bench there.
Chapter 6: Isolation – In the Waste Depot section, after navigating the raft on the sewage waste, locate the bench atop a pile of garbage.
Chapter 7: The Hollow – The final bench in *Split Fiction* is found in the Mosaic of Memories section, right after you jump across the beams of light from the windows. It will be on the left-hand side.
