Saber Interactive has reassured fans that all its previously announced projects remain in active development, including high-profile titles like the much-anticipated Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake that's seen little public updates.
Studio Commitment Confirmed
Following the Space Marine 3 reveal, Saber's Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits took to Twitter to address fan concerns, stating: "As one of the world's largest independent developers, we've got multiple projects across various genres underway. Every title we've announced is still coming - we'll share exciting updates when ready."

The KOTOR Remake Saga Continues
Willits' comments primarily address the mysterious Knights of the Old Republic remake, gaming's current holy grail. Since its 2021 announcement, the project has endured development shuffles, rumored cancellations and rebirths across four years without concrete progress shown.
Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch had previously confirmed in April 2024 that the studio retained KOTOR rights following its separation from Embracer Group, stating: "We're clearly working on this. The game remains in active development, and we're committed to surpassing fan expectations."
Willits' recent statement echoes this position, yet neither executive has provided gameplay footage or tangible updates beyond the initial teaser.
Saber's Expansive Pipeline
The studio's current slate includes several upcoming 2025 releases without firm dates, including John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival. A new Turok installment and untitled Avatar: The Last Airbender project round out their development pipeline.
With today's Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 announcement, Saber continues expanding its diverse portfolio. For deeper analysis on potential Space Marine 3 factions and chapters, check out IGN's dedicated coverage.
