Given Starfield's expansive sci-fi setting, the integration of Star Wars elements through modding was inevitable. A plethora of high-quality Star Wars mods already exist, but the introduction of the Creation Club has dramatically increased their availability. These range from simple cosmetic additions, such as Mandalorian armor and Clone Wars attire, to more substantial additions, including alien species, AT-ST enemies, and classic blasters. One particularly noteworthy mod even introduces Boba Fett, offering a glimpse into the potential of the cancelled Star Wars 1313.
Now, the Immersive Sabers mod by SomberKing allows players to wield three distinct lightsabers: the Combatech Polaris, Old Earth Photonsaber, and the Arboron Novabeam Saber. These feature authentic sound effects and offer workbench upgrades and customizable beam colors. A dedicated perk enhances deflection capabilities. Furthermore, defeated enemies may also drop these lightsabers, seamlessly integrating them into Starfield's gameplay. While Jedi in Star Wars craft their own lightsabers, the mod cleverly integrates them into Starfield's existing weapon manufacturing system. SomberKing plans to add three more lightsabers, produced by Laredo Firearms, Allied Armaments, and Kore Kinetics.
