Stellar Traveler: A Steampunk Space Opera Adventure on Android

Nebulajoy, the creators of Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat, have launched a new game, Stellar Traveler, blending steampunk aesthetics with space opera storytelling. Available now for free on Android, this game casts you as the captain of a team stationed on Panola, a human colony planet teeming with colossal mechanical monsters and untold secrets.

Your mission: assemble a squad and confront alien threats while unraveling a captivating sci-fi narrative. The game boasts charming features like space fishing, adding a unique twist to the gameplay. The retro-style art, reminiscent of titles like Tree of Savior and Ragnarok, immediately sets a nostalgic tone within its mosaic-style galaxy.

Combat is turn-based with automated battles and offline progression, allowing for continued advancement even when you're not actively playing. While the combat system itself may be somewhat straightforward, the roster of over 40 heroes, each boasting unique 3D skills, provides a satisfying depth. Character progression involves grinding to unlock a full five-skill combo for six-star heroes, requiring considerable leveling.

Stellar Traveler shines in its customization options. Players can personalize their captain's hairstyle, colors, and attire. For a visual preview, check out the embedded video:

The Space Fishing System: A Quirky Delight

One of the game's most unusual aspects is its space fishing minigame. Players can collect and cultivate alien fish species in an aquarium, serving both decorative and strategic purposes by enhancing squad strength. The game also incorporates various puzzles and mini-games to further engage players.
