Remember SAOVS, the action RPG by Bandai Namco that hit the scene in November 2022? Well, SAOVS, also known as Sword Art Online Variant Showdown, has made a triumphant return after its infamous 'never-ending maintenance' that kicked off in September 2023. Initially slated to wrap up by the summer of 2024, the maintenance stretched over a year as the developers tackled some serious core functionality issues.
Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Re-released: What’s New?
The relaunch comes with a bang with the introduction of Battle Royal Season 1. Here, four players duke it out in the arena, with the player who scores the most knockouts emerging as the champion. Assemble your top team, dive into League Matches, and claim Titles and accessories. This season is set to run until December 30th.
For those loyal players who stuck with SAOVS before the maintenance hiatus, there’s a special treat. The Returning Player Campaign is rewarding you with 5 [Sword Spark] Mito Pickup Scout Tickets as a thank you for your patience and loyalty.
Celebrate the restart with the Six Great Campaigns event! You can earn up to 100 free Scouts, gather login bonuses, and complete missions for some truly epic rewards. This event is scheduled to last until January 30th, 2025.
