Devolver Digital's impressive Android game catalog, featuring titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones, is about to get even better. The terrifyingly unique "reverse-horror" game, Carrion, is making its mobile debut on October 31st.
Initially released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a fresh take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, the mobile version promises the same chilling experience.
Unleash the Horror: The Carrion Mobile Experience
In Carrion, you embody a creature straight from a nightmare – you are the source of terror. Control a mysterious, red, amorphous blob as it slithers, claws, and devours everything in its path. This "reverse horror" game flips the script: instead of survival, you are the horror.
Trapped within a high-security Relith Science research facility, this monstrous being – The Monster – has escaped its containment. Scientists' attempts to control it through DNA manipulation have backfired spectacularly. Now, fueled by vengeance, The Monster must escape the facility using any means necessary.
Consume scientists, security guards, and anyone who dares stand in your way. Crawl through vents, shatter doors, and unleash your tentacles to hunt. Carrion mobile faithfully recreates the PC version's thrilling blend of panic and destruction. Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, allowing you to breach barricades and grow in size.
