Texas Horror Classic Returns:

Sumo Digital has released a significant update for Texas Chain Saw Massacre, slated for June 25, 2024. This patch focuses heavily on addressing character skill tree issues, particularly for Cook, Julie, and the recently added killer, Hands. The update also tackles numerous UI and visual glitches to enhance overall gameplay.

The asymmetrical horror game, inspired by the classic 1974 film, pits players as either members of the terrifying Sawyer family or their unsuspecting victims in a thrilling 3v4 multiplayer experience. The game's immersive atmosphere and faithful recreation of the film's chilling essence have earned it considerable praise.

Beyond the crucial skill tree adjustments, the update introduces the Hitchhiker's Claymore outfit, a cosmetic addition available for $2.99 USD. Further improvements include a refined lobby cooldown system for smoother matchmaking.

Specific fixes include resolving an exploit related to Hands' stamina, ensuring his abilities function correctly across all tiers. Issues preventing Cook and Julie from reaching level 10 in their respective skill trees have also been addressed by adding attribute points. Several visual bugs, particularly concerning Maria's hair and model, have been rectified. Finally, the update corrects a UI issue displaying removed perks on character customization screens. All skill tree node connections have been verified and corrected for proper functionality. The update promises a more polished and enjoyable experience for players across all platforms.
