Dead Sails Kraken Boss Guide
Your adventure begins in the heart of town, across from the Gun Store and Hospital, and in front of the Trading Hut. Start by offloading any unnecessary loot and gearing up. I recommend opting for a Rifle; it's a steal at just $75 and packs enough punch to fend off most enemies, at least temporarily. Don't forget to stock up on coal to keep your boat's old-school engine running smoothly.

The next town is a whopping 10,000m away. Once you kickstart your journey, you'll be well on your way. While you can stop to take down and loot Zombies and Drowned, it's not highly recommended due to the sparse valuables in the side houses. To restart the ship, simply add more coal and set off again. Ignore the worm on the right side for now. Wait until you reach the second safe zone to sell your loot, but keep an eye out for Big Foot and Zombie mobs flanking the river.

After passing the second safe zone/town, you'll encounter numerous burning buildings teeming with mobs. It's best to tackle these with friends; otherwise, it's a time-consuming task due to the scattered spawn points. Around 12,000m, you'll find a castle-like house packed with Drowned and valuable loot, including Shotgun ammo. Use these resources wisely.

Dead Sails Kraken Tips And Tricks
By now, you're familiar with the core gameplay loop: kill, loot, repeat, and hope the enemy falls. To elevate your game, focus on efficiency, particularly by using your boat as a primary inventory space. Clear your bag when you return to the boat to save time and space.

A crucial tip I discovered while crafting this Dead Sails Kraken guide is to stack Zombies near the incinerator. Although it's tempting to flee those backwater towns quickly, efficient loot stacking will pay off. Running low on fuel? Just toss a few Zombies into the incinerator for a quick refuel.

Another valuable strategy is to be cautious in Sherrif's offices. These areas often host a higher concentration of mobs but also offer rewarding weapons and ammo. I managed to sustain my shotgun's use for an extended period by having a friend clear the ground floor of each town we explored.

Remember to conserve your ammo, weapons, fuel, and medkits for the fortress around 25,000m. This area, still under construction, is prone to mob ambushes. It's advisable to approach with at least three others, with a five-person team being ideal. Be efficient when collecting loot.

Similarly, avoid engaging Big Feet after 30,000m. They're exceptionally tough, require a lot of ammo to defeat safely, and can hit like a freight train. Plan your stops wisely; remember, not all loot is worth the risk.
The town after 50,000m is one of my favorite spots for farming. With at least two dozen Drowned and Zombies, it's an excellent opportunity to gather corpses for fuel, especially if you're equipped with Shotguns or a Sawnoff. Coordinate with your team to prepare the bodies for loading efficiently.
How to Defeat the Kraken Boss in Dead Sails
As you approach the final stretch, sell all your items in the last safe zone and stock up on ammo, weapons, and medkits. Don't underestimate the Zombies and Drowned; ensure you have a stash of at least 8-10 corpses for fuel during the final leg of this Dead Sails Kraken guide. At around 100,000m, you'll hit open waters and be ready to confront the beast. The sign of its approach is the skies darkening.

When the Kraken emerges, everyone must target a tentacle. The boss has substantial health, and each tentacle can attack and cause damage if not properly countered. If you have a five-person team, form a pentagram-like shape and let everyone focus on their assigned tentacle.

Be vigilant of the Kraken's water splash ability, which inflicts AoE damage and is signaled by the tentacle winding back and creating a water trail. Use medkits liberally, as some damage is unavoidable.

Lastly, watch out for the Roar AoE, which causes minor damage that can't be blocked and may slightly boost the boss's damage. You'll recognize it by the white concentric circles emanating from the tentacle that used the ability.

As you can see, defeating the Kraken is more manageable than it seems. That concludes my Dead Sails Kraken Guide. To speed up your progress even further, consider using one of our Dead Sails codes. Good luck, and may your sails be ever smooth!
