The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues. Beyond the Siren Isle update, Season 2 is slated for a 2025 launch, introducing substantial endgame content and the next chapter of this expansion. However, Patch 11.0.7 introduces several new story quests setting the stage for Patch 11.1, centered around the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the tragic destruction of Dalaran, though this won't be immediately available upon patch release.

Dalaran, a long-standing location in Warcraft lore, may not recover from the events of The War Within. The Dalaran Epilogue questline provides a fitting conclusion to this story, offering a proper farewell to a crucial social hub in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

How to Begin the Patch 11.1 Prologue
Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign is immediately accessible. Completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaigns isn't required. However, completing prior story content is recommended to avoid spoilers and enhance understanding. The "Lingering Shadows" campaign comprises:

- Together, Alone
- The Voice
- Ringing in the Deeps

After "Found Friends," speak with Orweyna. While not part of the main campaign, her quest offers insights into potential future plot developments within The War Within or subsequent World Soul Saga expansions.
Initiating the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within
Initially, this questline had a three-week delay. As of January 7th, this restriction is lifted. However, accessing this campaign necessitates completion of both The War Within's leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (unlocked by reaching Renown Four with all four Khaz'algar factions).
To verify completion, visit Foundation Hall (the prologue quest starting point for Patch 11.1). Khadgar's presence indicates eligibility to receive a quest on or after January 7th. His absence signifies unfinished campaign quests. The Dalaran Epilogue quest list follows:

Completing this campaign unlocks the "Fate of the Kirin Tor" achievement and the "Witness of the Kirin Tor" title.
