Welcome to CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash, an exhilarating, fast-paced action game where skill reigns supreme. Set in a world ravaged by endless war, you take control of elite warriors known as Chasers, tasked with hunting down corrupted beings that threaten the realms' balance. Unlike games with pay-to-win mechanics, in CHASERS, every character, weapon, and upgrade is earned through gameplay alone. This beginner's guide will break down the core gameplay mechanics and game modes in simple terms to help you progress quickly. Let's dive in!
Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics of CHASERS
CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash is an enticing action RPG set in a 3D environment, where players engage in intense, fast-paced combat against enemies. You'll have access to a diverse range of characters, officially known as "Chasers," which you unlock as you progress through the game. There's no gacha system here; your advancement depends solely on your gameplay.
The combat mechanics are similar to those found in modern ARPGs but with unique twists in ability execution. During battles, you'll notice two crucial bars at the bottom of the screen: the HP (Health Points) bar and the Energy bar. The HP bar represents your current health; if it drops to zero, your Chaser is defeated and can't continue fighting.
The Energy bar, on the other hand, indicates your current energy level, which is consumed when using your Chaser's abilities. This energy regenerates over time, but you can speed up the process by using Energy drones found in dungeons. Controls for your Chasers are managed via a virtual movement wheel on mobile devices, while PC players using BlueStacks can enjoy a more precise experience with a keyboard and mouse.
A distinctive feature in CHASERS is the "Elphis" magic mechanic, which allows you to use all your abilities without consuming Energy. Think of it as a turbo mode, enabling you to focus on unleashing devastating combos on your enemies. When your Elphis bar is full, it glows blue, signaling that it's ready for activation.
Each Chaser has unique active abilities with specific cooldowns, meaning you can't reuse them until the cooldown period ends. The ultimate ability, the most powerful in each Chaser's arsenal, recharges as they deal and take damage. Once fully charged, this ability glows, ready to be unleashed.
Crafting your Team Formation in CHASERS
Strategy and team composition play a significant role in CHASERS. You can deploy up to three unique Chasers in battles. You have the option to manually select your Chasers or let the AI automatically fill empty slots with the strongest available Chasers based on their power level.
A noteworthy aspect of CHASERS' combat system is the ability to switch between Chasers seamlessly during battle. You'll see all your deployed Chasers listed on the right-hand side of the screen.
Leveling Up
To enhance your Chasers, you'll use accumulated Gold and experience materials of varying rarities. Leveling up directly boosts their base stats like Attack, Defense, and Health. Each Chaser has a level cap, which can be increased through advancement.
Skilling Up
You can improve your Chasers' active and passive abilities by using Rusty Bolt of Wave and Battle Data of different qualities. This enhances the damage multiplier of skills and reduces their cooldown periods.
Breakthrough
To perform a Breakthrough, you'll need duplicate copies of the same Chaser, which can be purchased from the shop using premium currency. Each duplicate used in a Breakthrough enhances the Chaser's current abilities, stats, or unlocks a new ability. You can Breakthrough a Chaser up to six times.
For the ultimate gaming experience, consider playing CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash on a larger screen using BlueStacks on your PC or laptop, along with a keyboard and mouse setup.
