Disney Mirrorverse Announces EOS By The End Of This Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile game uniting beloved Disney and Pixar characters in a unique universe, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced its End of Service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024. The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months of remaining gameplay before the servers close.

Did You Play Disney Mirrorverse?

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse is an action RPG featuring reimagined Disney and Pixar characters. Kabam encourages remaining players to complete the final storyline before the game's permanent closure. Initial excitement among Disney fans, however, waned due to a lengthy early access period and infrequent content updates.

The Disney Mirrorverse EOS Announcement

The game ultimately fell short of its potential. A demanding shard collection system hindered character progression without significant in-game spending, despite impressive character designs and graphics. The recent addition of Cinderella and new story content just a week before the EOS announcement surprised and disappointed many players. This isn't Kabam's first game closure; Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off also met premature ends.
