The Peep Demo Theater Makes a Comeback

MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

*Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater* (MGS Delta) recently secured an ESRB rating, revealing developers have meticulously recreated the original experience—including a particularly mature extra. The game received an M for Mature rating, with the ESRB summary confirming the return of the Peep Demo Theater.

This theater, previously featured in *Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater's* Subsistence and HD editions, allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the spy EVA in her underwear. It grants full camera control, including the ability to zoom in on specific areas. Unlocking it required completing four full playthroughs to collect every other cutscene in the Demo Theater.

The Mature rating itself isn’t surprising given the game's violent and gritty special forces narrative. However, the revival of this controversial "Creepy mode" has caught many fans off guard, as its explicit and sexual nature led many to believe it would be omitted from the remake.

A More Streamlined Camouflage System

In a welcome gameplay improvement, MGS Delta will feature a much faster way to change camouflage. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on Twitter (X) on March 28 showcased this refined process. The post stated, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."

Based on the footage, players can swap camo in under three seconds—a dramatic improvement over the original game's cumbersome method. In MGS3, changing camouflage required pausing, navigating menus, and selecting from the Camo section, which disrupted the game's flow and hindered immersion during stealth sequences.

With MGS Delta's release approaching, anticipation builds for a faithful remake that retains classic elements while introducing quality-of-life upgrades for a smoother experience. *Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater* is scheduled for launch on August 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
