The Big News: Trinkets!
Trinkets are the star of Season 8, acting as powerful new buffs. Players will encounter 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets, with the possibility of receiving duplicates. These buffs are strategically presented on turns 6 and 9, offering four choices each time. The available Trinkets are dynamically influenced by your chosen hero and current board state, ensuring variety and strategic depth for all minion types, from Elementals to Dragons and Murlocs.
Meet Marin the Manager: The New Hero
Marin the Manager joins the Battlegrounds roster, offering a significant advantage. His unique ability allows players to acquire a Trinket one turn earlier than usual, giving them a crucial head start in the competition.
A Minions' Metamorphosis
Season 8 sees a roster shake-up. While 41 minions are leaving the game, 22 beloved classics are returning, joined by 27 brand-new minions and 2 exciting Tavern spells.
Four New Cards to Master
Four compelling new cards add strategic layers to gameplay:
- Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after surviving combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
- Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Strengthens your lower-tier minions.
- Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms a Tier 3 minion into a Golden version.
- Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.
Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event
From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete Event Quests to earn 14 packs, including rewards from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
