Kemco has recently launched an exclusive Android visual novel, titled "Together We Live," which delves into a profound narrative set in a post-apocalyptic world. This game, already available on Steam for PC users, explores themes of human sins and the arduous journey of atonement.
A Girl Atoning for Humans' Sins
In "Together We Live," the protagonist, Kyoya, embarks on a surreal journey. He awakens in a dimly lit room to discover it's the year 4000, nearly 2000 years after his last memory. The Earth has transformed into a desolate wasteland, and he is greeted by a mysterious girl who is the only one capable of answering his questions.
This girl is on a mission of monumental importance. She is trapped in a relentless cycle of death and rebirth, each time dying to atone for the sins of humanity. Her countless repetitions of this cycle evoke a deep sense of empathy from Kyoya, who is moved to teach her about the concept of happiness.
The narrative may start off at a slow pace, which could initially seem off-putting. However, as the story unfolds, it picks up momentum, revealing twists, turns, and previously overlooked details that significantly impact the storyline.
