Marvel Rivals is gearing up for its Season 1 launch, "Eternal Night Falls," on January 10th at 1 AM PST, bringing with it Mister Fantastic and the rest of the Fantastic Four! The first gameplay footage reveals Mister Fantastic's intellect-driven combat style against Dracula. He utilizes his elastic abilities in creative ways, from stretching punches to slamming enemies together, culminating in a powerful, Hulk-like ultimate ability.
While Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman will debut on launch day, Human Torch and The Thing are expected to join the roster approximately six to seven weeks later. NetEase Games plans to release significant updates midway through each three-month season.
Leaked information hints at the abilities of the other Fantastic Four members. Human Torch’s kit reportedly includes flame walls and the ability to create fire tornadoes with Storm. The Thing is rumored to be a Vanguard class character, but his abilities remain undisclosed.
Despite earlier speculation and leaks suggesting the inclusion of characters like Blade and Ultron at launch, NetEase Games has confirmed that the Fantastic Four will be the only new additions in Season 1. This suggests a potential delay for Blade and Ultron to Season 2 or beyond, much to the surprise of some fans given Dracula's presence. The anticipation for the new season and its content is high among players.
