Capcom has unveiled initial details about Monster Hunter Wilds' first major update, scheduled for early April.
Alongside the game's massive launch, Capcom outlined Title Update 1 via Steam. The patch arrives roughly one month post-launch, giving players "ample time to gear up for fresh challenges and content," according to the developer.
The update introduces elevated difficulty: "Sharpen your weapons and steel your resolve, hunters!" Capcom stated. "TU1 delivers fearsome beasts surpassing Tempered monsters!" Additionally, a formidable new creature joins the roster.
Notably, TU1 features an endgame social space: "Monster Hunter Wilds will gain a multiplayer hub for networking, feasting, and camaraderie!" teased Capcom.
"This area unlocks after completing the main campaign, so complete your hunt preparations!"

Community reactions to the endgame hub announcement vary, with some praising the addition while others question its absence at launch. This Gathering Hub-inspired space notably avoids traditional naming conventions. Though camps feature limited multiplayer, Wilds currently lacks proper social infrastructure - a gap this addition aims to fill.
