Neverness to Everness: Hotta Studio Announces Open World RPG

by Amelia Jan 11,2025

Hotta Studio, creators of the hit sci-fi RPG Tower of Fantasy, unveils their next ambitious project: Neverness to Everness, a captivating open-world RPG. This new title blends supernatural urban mysteries with extensive lifestyle elements, promising a diverse and engaging experience.

Enter a World of Wonders and Weirdness

Hethereau, the game's sprawling metropolis, immediately throws players into the unusual. From peculiar trees and eccentric citizens to an otter sporting a television for a head, the city's strangeness is palpable. The night only intensifies the oddity, with graffiti-covered skateboards wreaking havoc.

Players, wielding Esper Abilities, are tasked with uncovering the source of Hethereau's anomalies. By solving these mysteries and overcoming challenges, players can gradually integrate into the city's unique daily life.

Beyond the Adventure: A Lifestyle RPG

While combat and exploration are central, Neverness to Everness distinguishes itself with its rich lifestyle content. Players can acquire and customize sports cars for thrilling nighttime races, purchase and renovate houses, and discover numerous other activities within the vibrant urban environment.

The game unfortunately requires a persistent online connection, a common limitation in modern open-world titles.

A Visual Masterpiece

Powered by Unreal Engine 5 and its Nanite Virtualized Geometry system, Neverness to Everness boasts stunning visuals. The city's intricate details, from shops overflowing with rich textures to the ominous city skyline at night, are brought to life through NVIDIA DLSS rendering and ray tracing.

Hotta Studio has meticulously crafted Hethereau's lighting, creating a mysterious and atmospheric ambiance that perfectly complements the game's unusual narrative.

While a release date remains unannounced, Neverness to Everness is confirmed to be free-to-play. Pre-orders are available on the official website.
