Hollow Knight: Silksong's Absence from Gamescom 2024

The much-anticipated sequel to Hollow Knight, Silksong, will not be featured at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, according to Gamescom producer Geoff Keighley. This confirmation, delivered via X (formerly Twitter), has left many fans disheartened.

Initial excitement surged when Keighley unveiled the Gamescom ONL lineup, mysteriously adding "+ More" to the list of confirmed titles. This fueled speculation that Silksong, absent from updates for over a year, would finally receive some attention.

However, Keighley later clarified on X, stating unequivocally, "Just to get this out of the way, no Silksong on Tuesday at ONL." While this news is disappointing for fans eager for updates, Keighley reassured them that Team Cherry remains dedicated to the game's development.

Although Silksong won't be at Gamescom ONL, the event still boasts a strong lineup, including titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization 7, and MARVEL Rivals.
