Ticket to Ride: Switzerland Expansion Brings New Routes and Challenges!

The popular digital board game, Ticket to Ride, is expanding its railway empire with the new Switzerland expansion. This exciting addition introduces country-to-country and city-to-country routes, opening up strategic gameplay possibilities across Switzerland and its neighboring nations.

This expansion isn't just about new locations; it also introduces a fresh layer of strategic depth. Country-to-country tickets challenge players to connect specific countries (e.g., France to Germany, Italy, or Austria), each offering varying point values for successful completion. City-to-country tickets provide a similar challenge, but with the added complexity of connecting cities to countries. Careful planning is crucial, as each country has a limited number of connection points. Successful route completion earns points based on the highest-scoring connection, while failure results in point deductions based on the ticket's lowest value.

To enhance the experience, the Switzerland Expansion also includes two new player characters and four new train tokens. Developer Marmalade Games timed the release for the holiday season, offering a delightful gift to Ticket to Ride enthusiasts. The expansion is designed to appeal to both seasoned players and newcomers, promoting a dynamic and engaging gameplay style.

The Switzerland Expansion is currently available on Google Play, the App Store, and Steam, with PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox releases coming soon. Stay updated on Ticket to Ride news by following Marmalade Games on Facebook and Instagram.
