Blue Archive Unveils Serenade Promenade Update: New Idol-Themed Students Added

by Sarah Apr 20,2025

After the Senses Descend update, Nexon has returned with another exciting update for Blue Archive, hitting all the right notes for fans. The Serenade Promenade event is now live, introducing two new idol-themed students, a captivating new story arc, and major news for those eager to play on PC.

Mari (Pop Idol) and Sakurako (Pop Idol) are the stars of the latest recruitment event in Blue Archive. Mari brings a unique healing support style to the battlefield, converting excess healing into bonus HP and stacking up Fan Service for a stylish edge. On the other hand, Sakurako is designed to enhance Crit and Crit Dmg for herself and Special Students, making her an ideal choice for teams favoring rapid, high-damage outputs. Both idols are available for recruitment only until April 28th, so don't miss out on the chance to add them to your roster before their event concludes.

The Serenade Promenade story event, which launched on April 15th, invites players to step into the spotlight after completing Mission 2-3 (Normal). This event seamlessly blends idol dreams with school-life drama, a hallmark of Blue Archive's storytelling, and it's available until the same April 28th deadline.

ytIn addition to the new content, the developers have confirmed during their recent livestream that Blue Archive is coming to Steam. This means PC players will soon have the opportunity to sync their progress and enjoy the game across platforms. Furthermore, improvements to the English localization have been promised, enhancing the overall experience for English-speaking players.

Wrapping up this update is the new Chokmah (Special Armor) Final Restriction Release, available until May 12th. This event introduces a layered boss challenge with a focus on armor, where defeating the highest stage automatically unlocks rewards from all lower tiers, eliminating the need for extensive grinding.
