In conversation with MinnMax, Fares revealed that Split Fiction's core narrative clocks in at approximately 12-14 hours, mirroring the playtime of their acclaimed It Takes Two. With optional missions and supplementary content included, players can anticipate a total playtime of 16-17 hours.
While Hazelight is renowned for its cooperative gameplay, Fares hinted at the potential for future single-player ventures. He disclosed that Split Fiction's budget is double that of It Takes Two, yet the studio has opted against post-launch DLC, ensuring players enjoy all features from day one.
